This weeks instalment of Sunday sevens a few days late as is common for me. I am currently writing this in my cabin bouncing around slightly motoring towards Dartmouth. It will get published when I get phone signal again 🙂
This week started out well with lovely sunshine. I spent Monday in Poole enjoying the sunshine…
…and the use of my sewing machine. I made myself some culottes which I don’t think look too bad considering they were drafted by me using a 20 cm ruler and a bit of webbing!
We had a BBQ to make the most of the good weather.
Our fennel plant has some wonderful flower heads on it.
Lots of appointments this week. Medical on Tuesday and then an emergency dentist appointment on Thursday. Oh well an additional hour of knitting…
We are finally starting to harvest food from our garden. Jalapeños and tomatoes 🙂
Friday we had a friend round to dinner. We do love cooking for others as it is always a chance to cook too much food.
Sat I went out to dinner with two really good mates of mine before I run away to sea again. I should have got more photos but I managed two Me-Made garments a silk sorbetto top (pleat turned into multiple tucks) and my knitted cardigan. *oh and I made the necklace too 🙂
Sunday I was supposed to travel to pelican early in the day. This ended up being put back as I needed another emergency dentist appointment. This time I was in and out in 5 mins but with a prescription for two antibiotics and codeine. It was then a train ride to Pelican… knitting and painkillers, sums up that day well I think.
Apologies for this being about a week late. We are currently moored in the middle of the river dart, for Dartmouth regatta. With additional tourists in Dartmouth it is hard to get signal let alone mobile data!
