Monday Sevens #66

Here is this weeks “Sunday” Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how the last week has gone.

So yet again time seems to have whizzed by again and suddenly it is halfway through July! I just do not know where this year has gone! This post will cover the last few weeks. Although I have been rather busy I don’t seem to have actually taken that many photos.

Philip and I  tried homemade pizzas, making the dough from scratch, which turned out really quite tasty. Will have to try these again for sure!

Making a change this time, I was out on the water instead of Pippa, taking my ICC course down in portsmouth. Although the weather was nice for some of it, the rest of the time is was blowing old boots.

We joined a few friends this week for a meal out at the stable, where I had this lovely cider tasting board, although I’m pretty sure one of them tasted like watered down medicine.

The garden is starting to get into the swing of things, we haven’t planted much this year but we are getting a lovely crop or blueberries, and starting to get some sugar-snaps and courgettes. On the left is our turbo-tomato which is just a single plant…

As a little treat for myself on Amazon prime day I got myself a new cordless drill. Probably more excited about this than I should be but hey…

We nipped up to Reading for a leaving dinner/ drinks with one of our friends who is off on secondment for a few months. We enjoyed a lovely selection of drinks 🙂

Ooh, those cocktails look inviting – not sure I can get as excited about the drill, lol! Homemade pizzas are the best, aren’t they? There’s no going back to shop bought ones now:)

I attempted homemade pizzas again with a slightly different recipe, the dough didn’t rise at all for about 12 hours… whoops
