Here is this weeks “Sunday” Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how the last week has gone.
Philip and I started off the week with some friends near Christchurch. A lovely lazy few days with watersports just at the end of the garden. I learnt how to windsurf and was just about starting to get the hang of it too! Although my muscles ached considerably the next day.
The trip was filled with great times with friends and of course lots of food! We got a great haul at the market and fresh fish from the quayside.
We ordered some fabric from Tia Knight which arrived this week. Pippa is planning on making a formal dress to wear to some of the posher receptions she attends whilst working.
Thankfully this week’s reception wasn’t black tie so Pippa had a chance to wear her Closet London dress.
She also got a lovely sunset view from the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.
I completed a few more bags this week as well. Making a pouch set for another friend who is off to America with a beautiful owl print that I had in my stash. (thankfully I think there might be enough left over to make me some bags with it as well). Here you can see all the bags (minus the shoe bag) that I have made recently.
Summer seems to have finally arrived in full force. Pippa had a lovely charter on Saturday with a group of childcare providers which was a great combination of sunbathing and champagne sailing conditions.
Things are starting to grow nicely in the garden and we are getting some produce. We got our first (not very large) crop from the garden. But hopefully things will pick up soon.
We finished off the week with some nice Tapas dishes made from scratch. A few new things in here as well as a few more classic options.

I’m very interested in your long haul survival kit as i have a trip to Australia planned. The length of flight did almost put me off….
Your week looked very nice – particularly Pippas charter (although all the food looked great too).
Oh that sounds like fun! Australia is absolutely wonderful to visit. I’ve got a couple of posts planned about the contents of the kit and how i made the bags etc so I’ll try to get them up soon so hopefully the might be of use to you 🙂
