Here is this weeks “Sunday” Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how the last week has gone.
Ah so we’re back to not having this out on a Monday again… I did attempt to get it written on Monday but I was away without my laptop and I found it very tricky to try and get it done on my phone.
I ordered some lovely stickers for my bullet journal from etsy store Journalspiration – looking forward to using these!
Pippa and I stocked up our tea selection in town this week! Lots of different flavours!
Pippa had an event this week which involved sailing the boat to and from Lymington in some pretty icky weather. Here is her on the way to Lymington, and on the return from Lymington…
But it was slightly better later in the week when she got to enjoy Champagne and a view from a clients house after sailing.
I’ve done quite a lot of sewing this week. I think I’ve done about 8 bags. Although unfortunately I can’t put photos up of some of the others quite yet. But I’ll try and put some up soon. But these are some modified notion bags based on a pattern by simplynotable
It was election day this week, so we got out in the miserable weather to go and vote. Then I managed to inadvertently stay up until sunrise following the live results…whoops
At the weekend was our dancing end of year BBQ so I made up some healthyish skewers and some caramelised onions to take with me and had a lovely time catching up with people.
Some more sewing – Pippa asked if I could whip up a shoe bag for her. So this got done on the Saturday morning whilst she was out at Brunch before she headed back to work. Not bad for something I completely made up on the fly.
To finish of the week I had some friends over for a food club where we made Indian food. We made naan bread, onion bhajis, samosas and curry from scratch. It took us quite a while, but they tasted absolutely fabulous!
