Here is this weeks “Sunday” Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how the last week has gone.
So we continued the work in the garden this week and definitely turned a corner in making it look nice again. You might have glimpsed this photo in the post ‘last week’ but this was actually done one evening this week. We now have a nice turfed lawn in the garden, complete with bark path at the end so we don’t walk over the lawn in bad weather.
If you follow Pippa on Instagram you might have seen that she has started a #100dayproject with watercolour painting. These are just some of the paintings so far.
Since going to Devon to help the parents out with their garden, then the palaver with the water tanks and some work Pippa had not sewn anything for at least two weeks with out even realising it. So it was time to try and get the sewing mojo back. When best to start that than 2 hours before you are due to meet a friend for drinks/dinner…
Having got the Sew-jo back another new top followed. Seamwork Gretta, it looks nice like this but needs modification before it really fits.
We went out for a bit of food shopping this week, and came back having purchased a sofa… as you do…
We found this lovely leather 3 seater sofa-bed in a Charity shop, it was in a great condition and the mattress looks almost like it’s never been used. So we snapped that up and got it delivered the next day. We haven’t quite moved the lounge round yet though, so at the moment it’s just living in front of the tv.
Earlier in the week our fridge started making rather concerning noises so we had turned it off and were living out of a cool box, but a friend messaged us on Sunday asking if we still needed a fridge as they had a spare and about 20minutes later turned up with this, which was significantly easier to get into the space than our old one. Yay! 🙂

What a great week. You must feel as if you’ve got a totally new home 🙂 Loving the paintings.
Thanks. It’s way outside my comfort zone but they turned out much better than I thought they would. Just need more practice now
Good score with the sofa and fridge! You deserve some good luck after the water palaver. Love the paintings!
