Here is this weeks “Sunday” Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how the last week has gone.
We started off the week with a ‘Burns Night’ dinner hosted at our friends house, complete with lots of haggis and naturally some Whiskey afterwards…
We are currently contemplating how to redevelop our kitchen and so a little DIY project this week has been painting over our kitchen tiles to make them plain white. Pretty happy with how it looks so far, much crisper.
Then Nikki and Philip were away for a few days, and took a walk around a lake in the misty frost, the lake was almost completely frozen over which gave it a very bizarre look. This was followed by a nice cafe lunch with the largest jacket potato I think I’ve even seen…
Pippa cast on another pair of socks, hopefully the striping on this pair will continue to line up all the way through.
Nikki managed to get a bit more sewing done on Aneesa’s outfit – the skirt for this is coming along nicely.
This was sewn on a lovely vintage sewing machine – we think it was from the 1960s but is still going pretty strong.
Pippa got another latin outfit made for the SUBLDS team. This has a leotard with a nice high back and and asymmetric skirt with a flounce edge. It needs a bit of embellishing to finish it off but it’s a lovely style.

Blimey, you have been busy between you! Love the idea of painting the tiles for an instant makeover, too. I do love seeing your dance outfits come together – a bit of embellishment will finish off that dress perfectly.
