Here is this weeks “Sunday” Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how the last week has gone in the run up to Christmas…
Monday we finished off our #StitchingSanta presents and shipped them off to their recipients dropping them off at Sainsbury’s to be picked up by a courier – what a brilliant addition to their services. 🙂 Nikki’s present didn’t fit into any box we had so we had to create one. Thank you Sainsbury’s for the iceberg lettuce crate…
Tuesday I went to Portsmouth to catch up with a friend and we went round the historic dockyard. I have to admit this is the first time I have ever been, I will have to go again… Here is me infront of the Victory
We also dyed a washable Duvet for our parents house, and our bath in the progress!
Wednesday I finished my last Christmas present to send off in the post. These dragon scale gloves that are for a friend who saw a post online with some other examples so with out telling her I reverse engineered a set for her. Apparently she has already got compliments from strangers when wearing them in town…
Thursday I spent most of the day making Christmas jumpers for our parents to initiate a new Christmas tradition in our house.
Friday we did our annual how much stuff can we physically fit into Nikki’s car contest. Answer A LOT
Saturday we decorated the ‘Grove’. As we don’t have a large Christmas tree this year (Nikki can’t hide in it this year!) the parents have decorated the space with some of the offcuts from the Silver birch trees.
Unsurprisingly I had to do all the stuff up the ladder!
Sunday we cooked… Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings 🙂
and we opened our #stitchingsanta presents, more to come on them soon 🙂
Looks like you’ve had some fun! The lights look fab. Big thank you to Pippa for my present and card. So thoughtful and kind and a lovely surprise. Thank you! I would have messaged privately, but can’t find a contact on the blog. Will blog a thank you too – if that’s okay?
Ah I should probably look at that. I’m glad you liked them 🙂 feel free to blog about them x
Wow! You’ve been busy. Everything looks marvelous; the lights, the turkey, the gloves….and the Christmas sheep sweater!
Thanks. It did feel slightly like mayhem but it wouldn’t be Christmas otherwise x
It looks like you had a fabulous Christmas. Everything looks gorgeous – with the exception of you blue bath . I hope you manage to return it to its proper colour!
