Here is this weeks Sunday Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how my last week has gone.
I have come to the conclusion that actually posting this on a Sunday is nearly impossible for me. Unlike most people the weekends are my most busy period and I often work both days, for example this week I will have Thursday and Friday off instead of the weekend…
Last weekend I returned from Pelican and got stuck into autumn cooking with lots of tomato sauce!
And then during the week I decided that we had more veg that would make good roast vegetable sauce so made more!
This did come at a cost though. Possibly the worst burn I’ve had yet. (It doesn’t look to bad here thankfully)
Socks socks socks. I finished my first ever pair of socks. Even ripping back half of one and re doing it!
This is part of the reason I was so busy on Sunday. This weekend I was working as part of the base team for sunsail and on call Saturday evening. This meant going over to Cowes to fix all the things that were wrong with the boats over night. This one was a bit too complicated for us to fix but the rest of the boats kept us busy. We didn’t get back to port solent till 0030 Sunday morning and we started again 0830…
I struggle too with Sunday postings, I think us bloggers should have another day in the week!
That sounds like a good idea. But I’m sure we would manage to fill that too…
Ow, nasty burn – hope the sauce is worth it, lol! Bet you’ll find sock-making addictive, especially as it’s such a portable project. Hope you managed to catch up on some sleep, too:)
Lol your right about that. The portableness of socks is very good. I’ve already cast on my second pair 🙂
Ouch! Nasty burn. Hope it heals quick. Well done on completing your first pair of socks. Can smell that sauce from here 🙂
