Sunday Sevens #33

Here is this weeks Sunday Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how my last two weeks have been going. Having to start working on sat last week kind of threw my schedule out so sorry for missing a week.

I managed to start the week off relatively healthily with some nice salads

And some gardening. The garden survived surprisingly well considering we have all been away for two weeks during the hot weather. But these caterpillars did take up residence.

We had a few meals with did from the garden including our first ever cauliflower.

Ed came down for 3 days so we enjoyed that time but unfortunately I don’t have any photos from then as he is very camera shy.

On Saturday Ed went home and I went to Cowes to start work for Cowes week.

The first two days I was working with the base team fixing things that people had broken… here is one of the bosuns on her way up a mast to retrieve a halyard.

There was lots of fixing to be done. Sat we finished at 2130 and Sunday we worked 0700-1930. Sunday was the most tiring day of the week for me!

Monday to Friday I wad out sailing with new clients each day, which can get super tiring. But wasn’t too bad this year.

On Thursday we got treated to the red arrows.

Cowes week has some what of a festival vibe and in the next marina down they had a ferris wheel.

Coming back home on sat I got in the door dumped my bags and left again to be social with the neighbours for our annual community BBQ.

After this I inspected the garden. Looks like we might have a lot of tomatoes this year.

On the way to Cowes I cast on a new hat using the riddari yoke pattern for the hat. I got a small amount done during Cowes but more done on the way to my grandparents on Sunday.

Staying over the night in Poole I managed to get the rest of the hat finished.

It just needs blocking now.

Yeah I don’t bother to net my veg so it is a constant battle with the cabbage whites!
