Here is this weeks Sunday Sevens post, linking up to Natalie to give a snap shot view of how my week has been going.
This week we got some more harvests from the garden. Starting the week harvesting the potatoes we bought from the market in Totnes last time we were down there for my granddad’s birthday celebrations.
We have had some nice weather this week, still not up to proper summer standards yet but I did manage to have coffee in the garden a couple of times this week. I only mildly got attacked by the onion blooms, I had to prop them out of the way with a watering can!
Nipping into town the other day I decided to wear my Hettie cardigan and get Nikki to take some photos of it. Well we forgot in town so took some infront of my neighbours fence (all the glamour here!) at the only moment when there were pedestrians on the street. Oh well queue awkward posing…
I’m not normally one for random health kicks or odd diets but recently we have been cooking/making more food which could be classed as ‘whole food’, from our dehydrated Paleo Skittles and Fruit Leather to my stupidly bright Golden Milk I made the other day with fresh turmeric and coconut milk that I made myself from a fresh coconut we had in the fruit bowl.
Be warned though the Turmeric does stain Everything!
We managed some more herb harvests from the garden which went straight in the dehydrator for preserving for use later in the year.
I even managed to harvest some lettuce which we planted up from one of those live lettuce boxes you can get from the supermarket!
More knitting was done 😮 I have managed to finish one sleeve of my #OAL2016 cardigan and have started the second one.
And finally some blueberries that we harvested. I’m soo looking forward to seeing how much we manage to get off this tiny bush 🙂
Great to see so much being harvested from the garden. Love both cardigans!
Thanks. It’s nice too be able to harvest stuff. Especially considering how small our garden is
