Here is this weeks instalment of Sunday Sevens from Natalie at Thread and Bobbins.
- Unconventional Pattern weights when using the Burda Pattern sheet for the first time!
- I think I need a new pair of scissors
- Stash busting making another gift for my #stitchingsanta recipients
- Sewing up my most recent mini stocking using a sail makers needle backwards. Because apparently I have them to hand more easily than a yarn needle
- A Lovely wool blanket that I picked up at a local charity shop destined to become some form of outerwear for me
- Stitching Santa wrapped and boxed and ready to go
- All of the Sexy faces being pulled by Nikki, posing with on of Daddy’s Christmas presents
Hopefully your Christmas list includes a new pair of scissors! What a great week….and your stitchingsanta gift looks beautiful!!
Lol no actually I don’t think anyone other than Nikki knows. But the problem isn’t actually buying them but deciding on a decent pair to get.
It’s a hard choice, isn’t it. I broke down and bought a pair of Ginghers on huge sale, then unearthed my mother’s old pair. So now I have two!! (or perhaps I’ll be returning the new ones….) Good luck, there are many to choose from!
Oh nice. I really want to try sets out as they always leave me with dents on my fingers. I think my fingers are too big for most designs
I’m going back and pinning a few things from my blog and came across this comment again. I inherited a set of my grandmothers scissors this Christmas which contains about 5 small scissors for different things, including button hole scissors which have a hole in them to only cut part of the fabric… Who knew they existed! Yay for old tools, I just need a decent pair of fabric scissors now.
