Today i have had a present happy day and have finally managed to make some headway towards getting everyones presents sorted.
I made my first ever batch of picalilli. Then late this evening I created a batch of gingerbread. I wont say wipped up as it took MUCH longer than i thought it would. There was one point where I was wondering if I would still be cooking gingrrbread when my sistrr returned from her night out! But thankfully that hasnt happened.
This did mean i had an excuse to crack out the funky shaped cookie cutters purchased from ikea, which have remained unused so far. I had wanted to use the moose cutter but i dont think the dough would have survived to produce antlers. Therefore I had to content myself with the use of the bear cutter, as shown in this photo…
