Well I saw on facebook my friends talking about a Nutella Cold Coffee recipe that they’d seen on Pintrest, and I <3 nutella, and this sounds like it would taste like the iced coffees I used to have a couple of years ago. (which reminds me…I haven’t seen them in shops recently, I hope they’re still around).
So I decided to try out this recipe and see what it tastes like. 🙂
( recipe from USMasala)
Ingredients:
1 cup Milk
1/4 cup Crushed Ice
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp Coffee Powder (instant)
4-5 tsp Nutella
1 tbsp or to taste Sugar
Although the ingredients could probably be varied depending on whether you want a stronger coffee flavour, or use some cream in with the milk to make it creamier. The recipe is pretty open to changes.
Method:
1. Put the milk, ice, vanilla extract, coffee nutella, and sugar into a blender.
2. Blend until completely mixed, the top will probably go frothy.
3. Pour in a tall glass, you can top with cream or sprinkles if you want to be a little indulgent.
4. Enjoy!
It tasted delicious. Might have to try it with ice cream next time though.
I freeze strong coffee for a similar drink but also add a half a banana yummy
Oooh interesting. Never thought of trying banana in it. May have to give that a go.
